On a recent trip to Costco, I spotted two great gifts that any frequent traveler would appreciate.
If you travel like I do and stick to a carry on, this is the perfect suitcase to maximize your space and still fit in the overhead bin. The spinner wheels allow you to maneuver effortlessly and it's ultra-light at 5.7 pounds. This model receives top customer reviews online. At this price, it's a steal. No need to buy one for me, as I already picked one up for myself.
This is entirely a self-serving plug because this is what I asked Santa for this year. I'm preparing myself for a 16 hour flight between San Francisco and Singapore in March and these will make for a great companion on the flight. A noise cancelling headset is a real necessity for a frequent flyer to cut out the jet noise and maximize your in-flight entertainment. Bose has a reputation for quality and these headphones receive top ratings on amazon where this same model is selling for 297.99. For $214.99, Costco can't be beat. Customers say that this model offers the best sound quality and silencing capability, but the drawback is that they require batteries. I don't know if other headphones are rechargable. I'm guessing this also is an older model as there is a Quiet Comfort 20, 25, 30, and 35. If you have a good pair of headphones, let me know what kind and your impressions.
